Privacy Policy

Your training is yours. This policy explains what data RepLift uses, why, and the choices you have.

Last updated: 5 July 2026

The short version: RepLift works without an account, and your workout data is stored on your device. We don't sell your data. The app uses Apple's own services for purchases and (optionally) Apple Health, and a third-party network to show ads in the free version — you can turn ads off by upgrading to RepLift Pro.

1. Summary

RepLift ("RepLift", "the app", "we", "us") is a gym workout-logging app for iPhone and Apple Watch. This Privacy Policy describes how the app handles information when you use it. By using RepLift, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Who we are

RepLift is published by Rimabel. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at support@rimabel.com.

Postal address: Rimabel, 30 N Gould St, STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.

3. Information we handle

Workout & body data you enter

The workouts, sets, reps, weights, routines, personal records, body weight, body fat and measurements you log are stored locally on your device. RepLift does not require you to create an account, and this training data is not uploaded to us.

Information processed automatically

Like most apps, RepLift and the third-party services it relies on may process limited technical information — such as a device identifier, device model, operating-system version, and app-usage or diagnostic signals — to deliver core functions like in-app purchases and advertising, and to keep the app stable.

4. Apple Health (HealthKit)

If you enable Apple Health sync (a RepLift Pro feature), the app can write your finished workouts to Apple Health. Access is granted by you through Apple's permission prompt and can be changed at any time in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → RepLift.

Data obtained from or written to Apple Health is used solely to provide app features. In line with Apple's requirements, we never use Health data for advertising or marketing, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties. Health data stays on your device and within Apple Health.

5. Purchases (RepLift Pro)

RepLift Pro is sold as an in-app purchase. Payments are processed by Apple — we never see or store your payment card details. To manage entitlements and subscriptions, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-infrastructure provider, which processes a pseudonymous app-user identifier and your purchase/receipt information to unlock and restore Pro across your devices. See RevenueCat's privacy policy and Apple's privacy policy.

6. Advertising

The free version of RepLift shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may process device and usage information (for example, advertising identifiers and general app-interaction data). You can learn more in Google's advertising policy.

Upgrading to RepLift Pro removes ads and the ad network's related processing in the app.

7. Tracking & App Tracking Transparency

Where required, RepLift asks for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking across other companies' apps or websites for advertising takes place. If you decline, advertising may still appear but will not rely on cross-app tracking. You can review or change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

8. How data is used

  • To provide core features — logging workouts, timers, routines, progress charts and gamification.
  • To process and restore in-app purchases.
  • To display advertising in the free version.
  • To keep the app reliable and to diagnose crashes and errors.
  • To respond to your support requests.

9. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Information is shared only with the service providers that make the app work — Apple (App Store & Apple Health), RevenueCat (purchases) and Google AdMob (advertising in the free version) — each acting under their own privacy terms. We may also disclose information if required by law.

10. Retention & deletion

Because your training data is stored on your device, you are in control of it. Deleting the app removes its on-device data. Workouts you wrote to Apple Health remain in Health until you remove them there. Purchase records held by Apple and RevenueCat are retained according to their policies and applicable law.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Since most of your data lives on your device and is not held by us, you can exercise many of these rights directly in the app and iOS settings. For anything else, contact support@rimabel.com and we'll help.

12. Children

RepLift is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we'll take appropriate steps.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the app. Continued use of RepLift after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
